What is Body Contouring?

One of the big areas that we deal with in plastic surgery is body contouring. That can mean anything from liposuction, to some skin tightening, to a body lift which is typically done in people who are older or have had massive weight loss. The most popular procedure, obviously, is tummy tucks.

Mom’s bodies change when they have children. I know you love them, but you don’t love what they do to your body. The tummy tuck is a way that we can help correct and restore those things on your stomach that you don’t like. It’s a fairly short procedure, lasting only a couple of hours. We do it on an outpatient basis at the hospital and most people are generally on pain medicine just a few days.

The results are just simply amazing. We show patients before and after pictures here in the office and I never get anybody who says anything but wow and they cannot wait to have the change to their body as well.
