Plastic surgery has certainly come a long way over the last few decades. Take silicone implants for example, we now have 3rd, 4th generation silicone implants with great safety profiles, far better than the ones we had back in 1960. There are many other technologies now available to patients that we used to not be able to offer, for example skin tightening. This is something that usually was done specifically with surgery. Now it can actually be done in the office. There’s no downtime, no recovery, very little discomfort, and the results are still amazing.
