Procedure Description:

What To Expect:

Preprocedure:
A local anesthetic is applied to the area to be treated

Postprocedure:
Minimal swelling and bruising occur and the result is immediate and lasts about 3 months.
 

SPIDER VEIN TREATMENT

What To Expect:
Spider veins can be treated by injection or with a laser. Depending upon the size of the blood vessel, one or both treatments may be utilized.

Preprocedure:
The laser treatments work well on the face and leg vessels too small to inject. The procedure may last from a few minutes to a half an hour.

Postprocedure:
You may need to wear a compressive (ACE) wrap for a few days afterward for larger areas. The veins will gradually disappear over 2-3 weeks.
