Liposuction
Everyone desires the perfect body. While some people are born with a desirable figure, other people have to diet and exercise regularly in order to maintain a figure they are satisfied with. Unfortunately, there are some people who, even with proper diet and exercise, cannot seem to lose weight. If you are someone who has struggled for years to get the body of your dreams, you may want to consider liposuction.
What is Liposuction?
Liposuction is a type of body-sculpting procedure created to remove fat from the body that is unresponsive to diet and exercise. Unlike a tummy tuck, which focuses solely on the abdominal region, liposuction can be applied nearly anywhere on the body, including the stomach, waistline, arms, thighs, buttocks, hips, chin/neckline, etc. Once an individual has undergone liposuction they will enjoy a slimmer, tighter looking figure. Liposuction can also help create a more proportioned figure and improve the overall shape and contour of the body.
What To Expect:
Liposuction is a great opportunity for both men and women to look their best. It is designed for individuals who are in fairly good shape but have "problem areas" that do not respond to diet and exercise. Dr. Hueneke uses the tumescent technique as well as power and ultrasound assisted liposuction.
Pre-procedure:
During your consultation, the details of the surgery will be explained. Our patients have been very satisfied with their results. We perform this procedure with the latest techniques and in approved facilities to ensure patient safety.
Post-procedure:
The surgery is done on an outpatient basis. Usually people are back to work in 3-5 days. You will need to wear a special compressive garment for 3 weeks. There can be a moderate amount of bruising that subsides by this time.

Remember that liposuction is not a replacement to diet and exercise, and it's not a cure-all for preventing weight gain. You can still gain weight, even after receiving liposuction, if you fail to exercise and eat a balanced diet. Liposuction is simply a tool for reducing fat in the body that doesn't respond to diet and exercise.
